How do I know how many tiles to order?

Multiply the room’s length and width in meters, you calculate its area using the formula length × width = area. If the room is 4 meters long and 3 meters wide, its area is 4 meters × 3 meters = 12 square meters.  There is also an additional quantity that is required to cover what is called “wastage”. This refers to additional tiles that are required to complete the installation catering for all the angles and cuts, depending on what your area is like and what size the tiles. Wastage factors can range from 10-15% or higher for more complicated installations.

What's the difference between a floor and wall tile?

A floor tile can be used on both floor and walls, whereas a wall tile can only be used on the wall. This is generally because the floor tiles are thicker and more durable, while wall tiles are thinner. In some cases the finish on the tile may also be an influencing factor.

Why can’t I use ceramics tiles on the floor?

We recommend using porcelain as it is more hard wearing, durable and dense product. Ceramics tiles are typically softer and less resistant to wear, while porcelain and stone tiles are generally very dense and extremely durable on the floor.

How long does a bathroom renovation take?

Most bathroom renovations take 2 to 3 weeks, however it will depend on what needs to be done.

How much will it cost for a bathroom renovation?

Budget will depend on the size of your bathroom, the scope of works (if there will be plumbing changes, fittings and fixtures you select). We work on a pricing model that is affordable, without compromising on quality or service. Most importantly, we provide a fixed quote and will not surprise you with any hidden costs.

Do I have to be home during the renovation?

No you don’t. Actually some people go on holidays while we renovate their bathroom. You can rest assured knowing your home will be in good hands, with strict key security measures in place, full supervision of the renovation and a team that will always respect your home and your privacy.

Would there be any extra charges?

No! No hidden costs or surprises. You would only pay the amount given to you in the quote, unless there is a variation or you ask for extra work.
